1. Based on your reflections, and on a scale of 1 to 10 (ten being optimal well-being), where do you rate your A-physical well-being, B-spiritual well-being, C-psychological well-being? Why?
A: I would give myself a 6-7. I have been making changes with my diet, things I consume, and daily activities to better the state of health of my body. I gave myself this number because I have moments where I slip and haven’t completely mastered it just yet.
B: For spiritual well-being I am an upper 7 close to 8. I am in touch with many things and never have I had a bias to someone’s belief’s or if they saw things other’s couldn’t, or even give a solid explanation for. I do give credit to the way I was brought up, given the opportunity to not have mind closed off to spiritual things and only made to believe one has helped in my growth in that department.
C: As for psychologically I give it a 6. I still need things and time to work on this but I feel I am on the right path.
2. Develop a goal for yourself in each area (physical, spiritual, psychological).
Physical: I want to build my rate up to an upper 8 within the years’ time.
Spiritual: I can’t give or perceive a rate for that because that will only grow with the years I live and my life experiences.
Psychological: I want to go up to a high 7.
3. What activities or exercise can you implement in your life to assist in moving toward each goal?
Each goal differs in its own way but always comes back to the time I invest into them and how I invest it. Physically attend a gym and look for natural techniques to properly lower weight. Spiritually is to simply be open and grow with everything that may come way. Psychologically I would also need to peace within myself and accept things for what they are and not what they could have possibly been or how I could have changed it; just learn to live and mature with certain situations.
4. The Crime of the Century relaxation exercise (What it beneficial? Frustrating? etc.).
The exercise itself was calming as well as informative to the importance of the locations that were specified during the exercise. I only had one frustration with trying to keep my breathing slow but also keep up with the next step coming up so that sort of through me off in some instances. Overall I was able to come back with a better understanding and warmth that I can’t really put into words. I wonder what you guys have experienced.
Thanks for reading!
